9 Powers of notaries public

For the removal of doubts it is declared –

(a) that a notary public appointed or deemed to have been appointed under this Act may exercise all such powers and authorities throughout Tasmania as may lawfully be exercised by a notary public in the United Kingdom; and

(b) that nothing in this Act affects the validity or operation within Tasmania of a notarial act duly done outside Tasmania.
