#### 42 Oath to be taken by Administrator etc. (1) The Administrator, and Acting Administrator or a deputy of the Administrator shall, before entering on the duties of his or her office, make and subscribe an oath or affirmation of allegiance in the form in Schedule 2 and also an oath or affirmation of office in the form in Schedule 6. (2) An oath or affirmation under this section shall be made before the Governor‑General, a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory of Australia or a person authorized by the Governor‑General to administer the oath or affirmation.
