Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This instrument temporarily removed a specific boat ramp and a pontoon near Banyan Farm on the Daly River from the Northern Territory “prescribed area” designation under the NT Intervention. That meant the federal alcohol and welfare controls tied to prescribed areas did not apply at those recreational facilities.

The change affected people using the ramp and pontoon by restoring ordinary public access for about one week, from 25 April to 3 May 2008.
