Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This instrument formally designates the business at Napperby Station in the Northern Territory as a "community store" under the 2007 Northern Territory Intervention. That brings the store under the Intervention’s special controls—including bans on alcohol and pornography, income-management requirements, and increased government monitoring.

It directly affects the store operators and the local Aboriginal community who depend on the store for supplies.
