#### 70 Directions—relationship with existing laws etc. (1) A direction given under this Division has effect despite either of the following: (a) a law of the Northern Territory, or an instrument (however described) made under a law of the Northern Territory; (b) the constitution of a community services entity. (2) However, if a direction (the Commonwealth direction) given under this Division is in force in relation to a community services entity at the same time that another direction (the NT direction) is in force in relation to the entity under section 181A of the Local Government Act: (a) the Commonwealth direction and the NT direction each apply to the extent that they can operate concurrently; but (b) to the extent that there is any inconsistency between the Commonwealth direction and the NT direction, the Commonwealth direction prevails.
