#### 16 Offence relating to notices (1) The Liquor Act has effect as if it included the following provisions of this section. (2) A person commits an offence if the person: (a) removes a notice posted under subsection 11(1) of the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007 of the Commonwealth; or (b) damages such a notice; while this Division has effect. Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units. (3) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subsection (2) if the defendant proves that the conduct was engaged in in the course of the person’s duties.
