29 Questions of law referred to Supreme Court (1) If the President is a member constituting the Tribunal for a proceeding, the President may refer a question of law arising in the proceeding to the Supreme Court for determination. (1A) If the President refers a question of law to the Supreme Court under subsection (1) or section 28(2)(b), the Court may: (a) decide the question; and (b) make any consequential orders it considers appropriate. (2) The decision and any consequential orders are taken to be a decision or order of the Tribunal. (3) The Supreme Court may stay the proceeding before the Tribunal until the determination of the question of law.
