Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What it does: This regulation repeals (cancels) 11 old sets of rules dating from 1926 to 1979 that governed how engineers on ships were examined and certified.

Who it affects: Primarily maritime engineers and shipping operators who were previously subject to these old examination requirements.

Why it matters: It cleans up the statute book by removing outdated regulations. This likely happened because newer, updated rules had replaced these older ones, making the 1926-1979 regulations redundant.
