26 Applications for exemption under section 422A of the Act

(1) An application by the owner, charterer, master or agent of an unlicensed ship for any certificate of an authorized officer, required by any Order made under section 422A of the Act as necessary to entitle a ship to exemption from requirements of the Act specified in the Order shall be made, in writing, by the owner, charterer, master or agent of the ship in respect of which the certificate is desired and shall be addressed to the authorized officer.

(2) The fee for the issue of a certificate of an authorized officer under this regulation shall be $20.
