#### 389 False declarations etc. A person who: (a) makes a false declaration, false statement or false representation; or (b) gives false evidence on oath, in connexion with an application or proceeding under this Act is guilty of an offence punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 2 years, or both.
