#### 283 Interpretation In this Part: > special purpose ship means a ship specified in the regulations as a special purpose ship or a ship included in a class of ships specified in the regulations as special purpose ships. > special personnel means persons carried on board a special purpose ship with the knowledge or consent of the owner, agent or master of the ship, other than: (a) the master or any other member of the crew of the ship; (b) a pilot; (c) a person temporarily employed on the ship in port; or (d) any person included in a class of persons prescribed for the purposes of this paragraph.
