(1) Section 2 does not have effect in relation to this Subdivision. (2) This Subdivision applies to the operation of a ship in: (a) the coastal sea of Australia; or (b) the exclusive economic zone; or (c) seas that are beyond the territorial sea and the exclusive economic zone of Australia.
