267ZZG Interpretation

In this Division:

aggravated contravention has the meaning given by section 267ZZN.

Australia includes the external Territories.

Australian ship means:

(a) a ship registered in Australia; or
(b) an unregistered ship having Australian nationality.

coastal sea of Australia means:

(a) the territorial sea of Australia; and
(b) the sea on the landward side of the territorial sea of Australia and not within the limits of a State or Territory.

Territory includes the external Territories.
