#### 184 Proof of agreement (1) In any prosecution under this Part it shall not be necessary, for the purpose of proving the articles of agreement by which any seaman has engaged to serve on board any ship, to call any subscribing or attesting witness thereto. (2) A copy of any articles of agreement, certified to be true by the consul of the country to which the ship belongs, shall be admissible in evidence in proof of the existence and contents thereof.
