Plain English Summary

What this does

This regulation is a straightforward housekeeping measure that scraps outdated naval rules. It repeals (cancels) the Naval Defence Regulations made way back in 1913.

Who it affects

Mainly touches the Australian Navy and Defence Department, removing old regulatory requirements that once governed naval personnel and operations.

Why it matters

Laws accumulate cruft over time. This clears out the 1913 regulations—presumably long obsolete or replaced by newer rules—keeping the statute book tidy. It creates no new obligations; it simply bins the old ones.
