92 Eligible interest in an area of land—Aboriginal land council

For the purposes of this Act, an Aboriginal land council holds an eligible interest in an area of land if: (a) under a law of the Commonwealth, a State or a Territory, the Aboriginal land council makes a claim for the area of land to become land rights land (within the meaning of the law); and

(b) the Minister who administers the law makes a decision that the land become land rights land (within the meaning of the law).
