sec.22 Regulatory information notice

This section applies if it is not practicable for the chief executive to display a regulatory notice expressly stating a contravention warning for a requirement of the notice near a particular part of a protected area to which the notice applies. The chief executive must display, near the entrance to the protected area, another notice (a regulatory information notice ) expressly stating the contravention warning. The regulatory information notice must be easily visible to passers-by. The regulatory information notice may contain other information about the protected area the chief executive considers appropriate. In this section— contravention warning , for a requirement of a regulatory notice, means a statement— that a contravention of the requirement stated in the notice is an offence against the Act ; and the penalty for the offence.
