sec.172 Chief executive may request further information
Without limiting section 171 (1) , the chief executive may, by notice, ask the submitter of an expression of interest to give the chief executive further reasonable information by the day stated in the notice. The stated day must be at least 20 business days after the submitter is given the notice. If the submitter does not, without reasonable excuse, give the chief executive the further information by the stated day— the expression of interest is taken to have been withdrawn; and the chief executive must give the submitter a notice stating that— under this section, the expression of interest is taken to be withdrawn; and the submitter may submit another expression of interest. The chief executive may extend the period for the submitter to give the further information. (sec.172-ssec.1) Without limiting section 171 (1) , the chief executive may, by notice, ask the submitter of an expression of interest to give the chief executive further reasonable information by the day stated in the notice. (sec.172-ssec.2) The stated day must be at least 20 business days after the submitter is given the notice. (sec.172-ssec.3) If the submitter does not, without reasonable excuse, give the chief executive the further information by the stated day— the expression of interest is taken to have been withdrawn; and the chief executive must give the submitter a notice stating that— under this section, the expression of interest is taken to be withdrawn; and the submitter may submit another expression of interest. (sec.172-ssec.4) The chief executive may extend the period for the submitter to give the further information.
- (a) the expression of interest is taken to have been withdrawn; and
- (b) the chief executive must give the submitter a notice stating that— (i) under this section, the expression of interest is taken to be withdrawn; and (ii) the submitter may submit another expression of interest.
