sec.218 Undecided applications for tags
This section applies if— before the commencement, a person made an application for an official tag under the repealed management regulation, section 261ZM(4) or 348A; and immediately before the commencement, the application had not been decided. The chief executive must decide the application under the repealed management regulation after the commencement as if the regulation had not been repealed. If the chief executive decides to supply an official tag under the repealed management regulation— the tag is taken to be supplied under section 165(1); and no fee is payable in relation to the tag under this regulation if all fees payable in relation to the tag under the repealed administration regulation or the repealed management regulation were paid before the commencement. (sec.218-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, a person made an application for an official tag under the repealed management regulation, section 261ZM(4) or 348A; and immediately before the commencement, the application had not been decided. (sec.218-ssec.2) The chief executive must decide the application under the repealed management regulation after the commencement as if the regulation had not been repealed. (sec.218-ssec.3) If the chief executive decides to supply an official tag under the repealed management regulation— the tag is taken to be supplied under section 165(1); and no fee is payable in relation to the tag under this regulation if all fees payable in relation to the tag under the repealed administration regulation or the repealed management regulation were paid before the commencement.
- (a) before the commencement, a person made an application for an official tag under the repealed management regulation, section 261ZM(4) or 348A; and
- (b) immediately before the commencement, the application had not been decided.
- (a) the tag is taken to be supplied under section 165(1); and
- (b) no fee is payable in relation to the tag under this regulation if all fees payable in relation to the tag under the repealed administration regulation or the repealed management regulation were paid before the commencement.
