sec.17 Near threatened wildlife

For section 79 of the Act , a plant mentioned in schedule 1 , part 2 , division 6 , subdivision 1 is prescribed as near threatened wildlife. The declared management intent applicable to a plant mentioned in subsection (1) is to manage the plant having regard to the matters mentioned in schedule 1 , part 2 , division 6 , subdivision 2 . See schedule 1 , section 23 (h) for circumstances in which a plant that is near threatened wildlife is to be managed as if it were another class of wildlife.
