sec.9 References relating to animal authorities

A reference in this regulation to a licence, permit or other authority of a type mentioned in chapter 4 , parts 3 to 18 is a reference to a licence, permit or authority of that type granted, or automatically issued, under chapter 5 . A reference to a standard licence is a reference to a standard licence granted, or automatically issued, under chapter 5 . A reference in this regulation to an animal authority for an animal is a reference to an animal authority that applies to the animal whether or not the authority applies to— more than 1 animal; or animals of different types or species. A reference in this regulation to an activity being carried out under an animal authority is a reference to an activity being carried out under a provision of this regulation that applies as a result of the grant, or automatic issue, of the authority.
