sec.60 Moving dead sampled or implanted animals

A person may move a dead sampled or implanted animal from the place where the animal died, or was kept, to— the premises of a veterinary surgeon for the purpose of performing an autopsy on the animal; or if the animal is frozen—the chief executive. See also sections 87 (2) and 320 (2) for requirements to perform an autopsy on a dead sampled or implanted animal or to give the animal to the chief executive. A person may move a biological sample taken from a dead sampled or implanted animal during the autopsy from the premises of the veterinary surgeon that performed the autopsy to the chief executive.
