sec.40 Record keeping
A State museum must, unless the State museum has a reasonable excuse, keep a record for an animal kept under section 35 (c) . For the requirements for records, see chapter 8 . The museum complies with subsection (1) if a relevant person, or an approved person, for the museum keeps the record for the museum. This section is subject to a provision of a conservation plan about the keeping of a record by a State museum for an animal to which the plan relates.
