sec.280 Surrender
The holder of an animal authority may surrender the authority by giving a notice of surrender to the chief executive. The notice of surrender must— be given using the authority management system; or otherwise be in writing. An animal authority surrendered under subsection (1) no longer has effect from— the day for surrender stated in the notice; or if paragraph (a) does not apply—the day the notice is received by the chief executive. s 280 amd 2025 SL No. 125 s 29 (sec.280-ssec.1) The holder of an animal authority may surrender the authority by giving a notice of surrender to the chief executive. (sec.280-ssec.2) The notice of surrender must— be given using the authority management system; or otherwise be in writing. (sec.280-ssec.3) An animal authority surrendered under subsection (1) no longer has effect from— the day for surrender stated in the notice; or if paragraph (a) does not apply—the day the notice is received by the chief executive.
