sec.275A Cancellation of automatically issued, renewed or amended authorities on particular grounds

This section applies if the chief executive believes an animal authority was automatically issued, automatically renewed or automatically amended because— the holder of the authority provided false or misleading information; or the authority management system malfunctioned. The chief executive may decide to cancel the animal authority. If the chief executive decides to cancel the animal authority, the chief executive must give the holder of the authority an information notice for the decision. The cancellation of the authority takes effect on the later of the following days— the day when the information notice is given to the holder; the day of effect stated in the information notice. s 275A ins 2025 SL No. 125 s 27 (sec.275A-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive believes an animal authority was automatically issued, automatically renewed or automatically amended because— the holder of the authority provided false or misleading information; or the authority management system malfunctioned. (sec.275A-ssec.2) The chief executive may decide to cancel the animal authority. (sec.275A-ssec.3) If the chief executive decides to cancel the animal authority, the chief executive must give the holder of the authority an information notice for the decision. (sec.275A-ssec.4) The cancellation of the authority takes effect on the later of the following days— the day when the information notice is given to the holder; the day of effect stated in the information notice.

• (a) the holder of the authority provided false or misleading information; or
• (b) the authority management system malfunctioned.
