sec.257F Particular applications to be decided by chief executive
This section applies if— a person makes an application for the renewal of an existing licence under section 257C ; and the licence cannot be renewed by the operation of the authority management system under section 257D . As soon as practicable after the application is made, the applicant must be given a notice, whether by the operation of the authority management system or in another way, stating— the licence cannot be automatically renewed; and the application must be decided under division 3 by the chief executive. Division 3 applies in relation to the application as if it were made— under section 258 to the chief executive for the renewal of the existing licence; and on the day the notice was given to the person under subsection (2) . However, section 258 (2) does not apply in relation to the application. s 257F ins 2025 SL No. 125 s 14 (sec.257F-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person makes an application for the renewal of an existing licence under section 257C ; and the licence cannot be renewed by the operation of the authority management system under section 257D . (sec.257F-ssec.2) As soon as practicable after the application is made, the applicant must be given a notice, whether by the operation of the authority management system or in another way, stating— the licence cannot be automatically renewed; and the application must be decided under division 3 by the chief executive. (sec.257F-ssec.3) Division 3 applies in relation to the application as if it were made— under section 258 to the chief executive for the renewal of the existing licence; and on the day the notice was given to the person under subsection (2) . (sec.257F-ssec.4) However, section 258 (2) does not apply in relation to the application.
- (a) a person makes an application for the renewal of an existing licence under section 257C ; and
