sec.24 Purpose of chapter
This chapter— authorises particular persons to carry out particular activities in relation to particular animals regardless of whether those persons hold animal authorities; and states requirements related to the carrying out of the activities mentioned in paragraph (a) . Part 5 , division 4 of the Act contains offences prohibiting persons from carrying out particular activities in relation to protected animals unless the persons or activities are authorised under the Act . See chapter 4 for activities authorised under animal authorities. See part 8 about moving particular animals. Also, see chapter 4 , part 16 and chapter 5 , part 2 about movement permits authorising movement of animals.
