sec.168 Releasing animals
This section applies in relation to a damage mitigation permit for releasing an authorised animal taken under the permit. The holder of the permit, or a relevant person for the holder, may carry out any of the following activities— keep the animal for releasing the animal; release the animal into a prescribed natural habitat for the animal. (sec.168-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to a damage mitigation permit for releasing an authorised animal taken under the permit. (sec.168-ssec.2) The holder of the permit, or a relevant person for the holder, may carry out any of the following activities— keep the animal for releasing the animal; release the animal into a prescribed natural habitat for the animal.
- (a) keep the animal for releasing the animal;
- (b) release the animal into a prescribed natural habitat for the animal.
