sch.1-sec.5 Principles relating to proposed taking, keeping and use
An animal that is extinct wildlife may be taken from the wild, kept or used under the Act only if the taking, keeping or use— is for putting into effect a recovery plan for the animal; and is not likely to reduce the ability of the animal’s population to expand.
- (a) is for putting into effect a recovery plan for the animal; and
- (b) is not likely to reduce the ability of the animal’s population to expand.
