34 Scientific committee—Minister’s directions (1) The Minister may direct the scientific committee, in writing, to provide advice about a stated nature conservation matter. (2) The Minister must give a copy of each Minister’s direction to the conservator.

(3) A report prepared by the conservator under the Annual Reports (Government Agencies) Act 2004 for a financial year must include— (a) a copy of each Minister’s direction given during the year; and (b) a statement by the conservator about action taken during the year to give effect to any Minister’s direction (whether given before or during the year).
