regulation

Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

These regulations declare every well in the cadastral Hundreds of Peake, Roby and Sherlock — including wells drilled after the rules start — to be "prescribed wells" and fix the dates for the establishment period and the prescribed period. They also preserve the operation of a specific provision of the Natural Resources Management Act so that the legal consequences flow from that Act. This matters to owners/operators of wells in that area because it brings their wells within the Act’s prescribed‑well regime and its administrative requirements.
