14 Primary objectives of the Coasts and Clean Seas Initiative
For the purposes of this Act, the primary objectives of the Coasts and Clean Seas Initiative are as follows: (a) to ameliorate pollution problems in Australia’s coastal areas; (b) to protect the environment in Australia’s coastal areas; (c) to ameliorate threats to Australia’s marine biodiversity; (d) to develop an oceans policy for Australia.
