#### 10 Primary objective of the National Vegetation Initiative For the purposes of this Act, the primary objective of the National Vegetation Initiative is to reverse the long‑term decline in the extent and quality of Australia’s native vegetation cover by: (a) conserving remnant native vegetation; and (b) conserving Australia’s biodiversity; and (c) restoring, by means of revegetation, the environmental values and productive capacity of Australia’s degraded land and water.
