209 Reports by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner The Commonwealth Minister may, by written notice, direct the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner to report to the Commonwealth Minister about: (a) the operation of this Act; or (b) the effect of this Act on the exercise and enjoyment of human rights of Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islanders. Note: The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner is appointed under the Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986.
