8 Notice or permit required
(1) A person must not drive or operate a Class 2 vehicle except in accordance with a notice issued, or a permit granted, under this Part. (2) A person who fails to comply with subregulation (1) is guilty of an offence and is liable on conviction to a penalty not exceeding $2,000 in the case of an individual and $10,000 in the case of a body corporate.
