17 Power to grant Class 3 permit
(1) The Authority may grant a permit exempting one or more Class 3 vehicles from: (a) a mass or dimension requirement of the Mass and Loading Regulations, other than a requirement that relates to a GVM, GCM or manufacturer’s limit; or (b) a dimension limit in the Vehicle Standards Regulations. (2) The Authority may grant a Class 3 permit subject to conditions, including conditions as to the areas or routes to which the permit applies.
