6 Compliance with requirements—motor vehicles
(1) If a motor vehicle or a load on a motor vehicle does not comply with a requirement in the Schedule that applies to it, each of the following persons is guilty of an offence: (a) the owner of the motor vehicle; (b) the driver of the motor vehicle. (2) A person who is both the owner and the driver of the motor vehicle may be punished only once for the same failure of the vehicle or load to comply with a requirement.
