134 Information about driver’s base
(1) An authorised person may ask the driver of a heavy truck or commercial bus to produce his or her logbook for inspection to see whether a place other than the vehicle’s garage address is recorded in the logbook as the driver’s base. (2) Subregulation (3) applies if the driver does not immediately produce his or her logbook for inspection when asked to produce it by the authorised person. (3) For the application of Part 4 (Driving records) to the driver, the driver’s base is taken to be the vehicle’s garage address. (4) In this regulation:
