87 Directions and authorisations to be in writing
A direction or authorisation under this Division is to be in writing, except: (a) in the case of a direction to move a vehicle or combination, where the moving is carried out in the presence of, or under the supervision of, an authorised officer or police officer; or (b) in other circumstances prescribed by the regulations.
