16 No double jeopardy
Where an act or omission constitutes an offence— (a) under this Act or the regulations made under this Act; and (b) under the occupational health and safety legislation— the offender is not liable to be punished twice in respect of the offence.
Note: This provision is included to make it clear that the double jeopardy provision in the Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984 [local variations] applies.
