(1) A person must not make an entry in someone else’s work record.
Court‑imposed penalty: $10 000.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to: (a) a person who is the nominee of a driver and makes the entry in the driver’s work diary as required by a work diary exemption applying to the driver; or (b) an authorised officer or police officer; or (c) the person’s fellow two‑up driver, to the extent of the two‑up driver’s signature. (3) An offence against this section is an offence of strict liability.
