25Disclosure of interests

##### 25 Disclosure of interests (1) A member who has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest in a matter being considered, or about to be considered, by the Commission must, as soon as possible after the relevant facts come to the member’s knowledge, disclose the nature of the interest at a meeting of the Commission. (2) The disclosure is to be recorded in the minutes of the meeting and, unless the Australian Transport Council otherwise determines by resolution carried in accordance with the Heavy Vehicles Agreement, the member must not: (a) be present during any deliberation of the Commission in relation to the matter; or (b) take part in any decision of the Commission in relation to the matter.
