32 The assessment framework (1) The Minister may declare, in writing, a method, or matters to take into account, for the purposes of working out: (a) the amount of redress payment for a person; and (b) the amount of the counselling and psychological component of redress for a person. Note: For variation or revocation of the declaration, see subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901. (2) The declaration is the assessment framework. (3) The declaration is a legislative instrument, but section 42 (disallowance) of the Legislation Act 2003 does not apply to it.
