21 Special process for child applicants (a) a person makes an application for redress under the scheme; and (b) the person is a child who will turn 18 before the scheme sunset day; then the Operator must deal with the application in accordance with any requirements prescribed by the rules. (2) Rules made for the purposes of subsection (1) apply despite subsection 29(1) (which requires the Operator to make a determination on the application as soon as practicable).
