##### 17B Director to have access to buildings and places in the Region
(1) The Director, or a person authorized by the Director in writing, is entitled, with the consent of the occupier, to full and free access to all buildings and places in the Region for the purpose of the performance of the functions or the exercise of the powers of the Director under this Act, so far as those functions or powers relate to uranium mining operations.
(2) A person shall not, without reasonable excuse, obstruct or hinder the Director, or a person authorized by him or her, in the exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1).
Penalty: $1,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
