##### 14B Interpretation In this Part, unless the contrary intention appears: > relevant Council means: (a) in relation to Aboriginal land in the Region—the Aboriginal Land Council established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976 for the area in which the land is situated; or (b) in relation to the Jervis Bay National Park or the Jervis Bay Botanic Gardens—the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community Council. > relevant preconditions, in relation to an office of member of a Board, means the preconditions that a person must satisfy, in accordance with the section 14C notice in relation to the Board, in order to be eligible for appointment to that office. > section 14C notice means a notice under subsection 14C(1) and includes such a notice as amended or further amended under subsection 14C(4).
