#### 188G Public availability of register 188G Public availability of register > > (1) A copy of the public register is to be available for public inspection at the head office of the Department and at such other places as the Secretary thinks fit. > > > (2) An extract of the register may be obtained by members of the public from the Secretary. > > > (3) The regulations may prescribe any or all of the following— > > > > > (a) the means by which the register can be inspected, > > > > > (b) the hours when the register can be inspected and when extracts can be obtained, > > > > > (c) fees for the inspection of the register, > > > > > (d) fees for extracts of the register. > > > (4) The register can be inspected or extracts can be obtained during ordinary office hours, and on payment of fees determined by the Secretary, in the absence of regulations prescribing these matters. > > Note. > > Access to information may be limited by the operation of section 161 of this Act. > > **s 188G:** Ins 2010 No 38, Sch 1 \[117\].
