#### 174 Service of notices 174 Service of notices > Any notice given under or for the purposes of this Act or the regulations may, unless otherwise specially provided, be given in any one of the following ways— > > > (a) personally to the person to whom the notice is addressed, or > > > (b) by letter sent through the post by mail and directed to the last known residential or business address of the person to whom the notice is addressed, or > > > (c) by sending it by facsimile or electronic transmission (including for example the Internet) to the person in accordance with arrangements indicated by the person as appropriate for transmitting documents to the person. > > **s 174:** Am 1986 No 218, Sch 28, Part 1 (8); 1999 No 85, Sch 1.20 \[18\]; 2010 No 38, Sch 1 \[93\] \[94\].
