### 85 Assistance to officers > > (1) In this section, > > > > > ***officer*** means the Director, a person employed in the Department or a ranger. > > > (2) If a person has been requested to assist an officer carrying out his or her functions under this Act and is willing to do so, another person must not, either directly or indirectly, prevent, dissuade, hinder, impede or obstruct that person from assisting that officer or from proceeding to a place for the purpose of assisting that officer.
