#### 18RB Conditions on appointment of utility meter verifiers The appointment of a person as a utility meter verifier under section 18RA is subject to the following conditions: (a) if the verifier is an individual—that the verifier must not personally verify a utility meter unless he or she is competent to test that class of utility meter; (aa) that the verifier must not employ a person to verify a utility meter unless that person is competent to test that class utility meter; (b) if the verifier employs persons to verify utility meters—that the verifier provide a list to the Secretary of the employees who will verify utility meters; (c) that the verifier, and its employees (if any), comply with the requirements of this Act; (d) that the verifier, and its employees (if any), comply with the requirements of a trade measurement inspector made under this Act; (e) that the verifier maintain such reference standards of measurement as the Secretary specifies in writing; (f) that the verifier participate in such training in respect of the verification of utility meters as the Secretary requires in writing; (g) that the verifier report as required in writing by the Secretary concerning its role as a utility meter verifier.
